IBPS CRP RRBs-XV 2026 — Officer Scale I Main Online Examination

IBPS CRP RRBs-XV: Officer Scale I — Main Examination (2026)

Recruitment identity: Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks (CRP RRBs-XV), the SarkariSapna recruitment page ibps-rrb-xv-2026-13757-revised-vacancies-exam-roadmap. This Exam Master is for Officer Scale I Main, and is not a duplicate of Officer Scale I Preliminary or the Scale II/III Single Examination. The hiring agency is the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS); appointment is to participating Regional Rural Banks, subject to the notified process.

Official examination window

IBPS's published Tentative Calendar of Online CRP for PSBs & RRBs (2026–2027), dated 16 January 2026, lists 20 December 2026 for the Officer Scale I Main Examination. This is a tentative exam date, not confirmation of an individual candidate's centre, shift, reporting time or issued hall ticket. The same calendar separately lists Officer Scale I Preliminary on 21 and 22 November 2026. Applicants should monitor the specific CRP RRBs-XV portal for any change after the calendar.

Which candidates can enter this stage?

Officer Scale I applicants must first participate in the preliminary online examination and meet the qualifying-shortlisting criteria for the Main Examination. The preliminary date and results do not constitute automatic eligibility: IBPS will announce a Main Examination call letter and candidate-specific instructions in the applicable time window. Do not mistake the 20 December Main date for the 21–22 November Preliminary test, nor confuse it with the Scale II/III single examination scheduled for the same 20 December day.

Career and selection sequence

The Officer Scale I sequence is Preliminary online exam → Main online exam → common interview for eligible shortlisted candidates → provisional allotment according to participating RRB vacancies, preferences, eligibility and the applicable merit process. The Office Assistants route differs because Office Assistants do not have the Officer-cadre interview. The final allotment, individual bank, joining and salary depend on a later official stage, not on the date of this Main test.

Candidate checklist

Keep the registration number and credentials from the 2026 RRB XV application, check the official call-letter issue notice, download the correct Officer Scale I Main admit card when IBPS actually releases it, follow its own photo/identity, accessibility and reporting directions, and do not rely on an unofficial expected call-letter date. A hall-ticket release date, centre, number of shortlisted candidates, category cutoffs, scorecard, final result and joining schedule are not specified by this calendar. No Result, Answer Key or Admit Card is being created by this Exam Master.

Official primary evidence: IBPS 2026–27 tentative examination calendar; IBPS official CRP updates. The vacancy revision on 25 September 2026 is a separate vacancy-stage update and should not be treated as proof of a revised Main examination date.
