ICSI Young Professional Recruitment 2026: Five Company Secretary Positions at MCA Central Facility Centres, Manesar

Advertisement ICSI/YPCFC/56/2026 | 5 contractual positions | Applications: 6–20 November 2026 | First-year consolidated remuneration: ₹75,000 per month | Worksite: IMT Manesar, Haryana

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has opened a compact but professionally demanding recruitment for five Young Professionals to work with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs' Central Facility Centres. The assignment is not a classroom teaching job, a routine administrative vacancy or appointment to a permanent Central Government cadre. It concerns scrutiny and processing of company and LLP electronic forms under the Companies Act, 2013 and the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, with measurable file-disposal expectations and annual performance review.

This opportunity is specifically for qualified Company Secretaries who already hold membership of ICSI. That fact distinguishes it from ICSI's simultaneously advertised eight Assistant Young Professional positions, which accept candidates who have passed the ICSI Executive-level examination. A candidate should not use the same eligibility assumption for both advertisements, even though both assignments operate at the same Manesar campus and share the application window.

The announcement is unusually important to read across both the first and second pages, not from a one-line eligibility headline: it presents two different formulations about experience. Those passages are examined below rather than silently merged into a fictional minimum requirement.

1. 🏛️ What the selected Company Secretary will actually do

The notified workplace is the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) campus at IMT Manesar, housing the listed Central Facility Centres: CRC, C-PACE, CSC and CPC. ICSI will engage the professionals contractually for those centres. The notice does not say that an applicant will choose a specific centre, nor does it break the five seats into one seat per centre or any other distribution.

The stated responsibility is to examine and process e-forms under the Companies Act, 2013 and the LLP Act, 2008, together with their rules, in the role assigned by the office concerned. This is a compliance-reading function: a professional must be able to connect the applicable law, the filing's assertions and the evidence submitted with it. The level of care is different from merely typing data already approved by someone else.

The four centre names help explain the environment, but they are not four separate advertised designations:

Centre mentioned in noticeRelevant official MCA function and why it matters to the work
CRC — Central Registration CentreCentralised name-reservation and incorporation-related registration functions; relevant work demands attention to declarations and accompanying incorporation records
C-PACE — Centre for Processing Accelerated Corporate ExitCentralised company-exit processing; the legal basis and supporting declarations are central to responsible scrutiny
CSC — Central Scrutiny CentreScrutiny of certain straight-through-processed forms for defects; inconsistencies in filed information may require careful identification
CPC — Central Processing CentreProcessing designated company e-forms through centralised procedures

The centre descriptions are background from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs' official documentation. ICSI has not promised a posting to any particular one of these units, nor issued an individual daily duty roster. The actual allocation and targets are determined by the assigned centre.

The less obvious performance condition: throughput and judgment

ICSI explicitly connects the work to the delivery of Registrar of Companies-related services within prescribed targets. The relevant central facility will set minimum form-disposal targets. Performance exceeding those benchmarks will receive substantial weight during appraisal. The published notification does not supply a numeric forms-per-day quota, pass percentage or productivity scorecard.

Consider an illustrative filing in which a director's name, an attachment and the declaration carry conflicting details. The appropriate professional response would involve recognising the mismatch, consulting the governing filing requirement and handling the discrepancy through the authorised process. This example describes the reasoning the advertised job is likely to reward; it is not an actual ICSI case study or an announced test question. A second illustrative file may be legally complete but require prompt routing within a prescribed workflow. Speed alone is not enough if the legal basis of the processing decision is weak.

This blend of documentary accuracy, statutory interpretation, organised case handling and consistent productivity explains why an ICSI-qualified professional might be suitable for the role. It also explains why the employer asks a candidate to be comfortable with a fully occupied working week and target-led review rather than a vague “office desk job” description.

2. 🎓 Eligibility: ICSI membership is essential, Executive pass is not enough

The official qualification line is direct: Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. The opening paragraph invites qualified Company Secretaries having membership of the Institute. This is the core distinction that should determine which recruitment link a candidate uses.

Candidate's qualification status on 1 November 2026Position under this specific YP notice
Holds valid ICSI professional membershipMeets the named professional-status requirement, subject to age and other conditions
Passed ICSI Executive onlyDoes not meet the advertised membership requirement for this YP post
Passed CS Professional but membership not yet obtainedCS Professional passing is not the same statement as holding ICSI membership; membership proof is necessary
Graduate, LLB, MBA or other degree without ICSI membershipNo replacement qualification is specified in this notice
Member of a different professional institute onlyThe YP notice names ICSI membership, not a general CA/CMA qualification alternative

The last comparison is important because broader MCA-related engagements from different years or through different professional institutes may use wider eligibility wording. This current ICSI advertisement governs these five positions, so a candidate should not import eligibility from an unrelated recruitment.

Practical supporting evidence may include the ICSI membership certificate and details needed to substantiate its standing, along with any educational qualifications entered in the online application. The notice does not prescribe a special minimum graduation percentage for eligibility. The online form nevertheless instructs candidates how to report degree/diploma percentages: decimal percentages must be rounded down to the lower whole number, and grades must be converted to their numerical equivalent. That is a reporting rule, not a newly invented 50% qualifying standard.

A carefully worded experience condition — two statements in the notice

Page 1 says candidates with at least one year of post-qualification experience will be preferred. “Preferred” is not the same as “mandatory”: the recruitment does not clearly exclude a newly admitted ICSI member solely for having less than a full year of post-qualification work.

Page 2, however, also says candidates with post-qualification experience of up to one year will be considered. Read literally, that describes an upper range, while page 1 describes preference for someone with at least one year. The two passages meet at one year but do not give a clear outcome for every candidate with substantially longer service. The notice does not explain whether the second line is intended as an exclusive ceiling.

The responsible reading is therefore:

  • ICSI membership is explicitly mandatory.
  • At least one year of qualifying professional experience is an expressly stated preference, not a clearly mandatory minimum.
  • Up to one year is separately mentioned as eligible for consideration.
  • Neither passage authorises inventing a “minimum two years” rule or guaranteeing that longer-experienced members are eligible.
  • Training forming part of the CS course curriculum does not count towards post-qualification experience.

A candidate with materially more than one year's professional experience should confirm the interpretation with ICSI's HR team at hr.dept@icsi.edu. The same holds for an unusual combination of membership date, CS curriculum training and later professional work. A well-documented chronology—membership date, commencement and end of each role, professional duties, and any curricular training kept separately—is a stronger basis for assessment than an unqualified “years of experience” number.

Cut-off day is not the application deadline

The reference date for age, qualification and experience is 1 November 2026, while applications open on 6 November and close on 20 November. Membership acquired after the specified eligibility date should not be assumed to cure an eligibility gap. Similarly, a candidate turning 32 during the application window must assess age on 1 November, not on the day of submission.

3. Age: strictly below 32 years, with a separate 35-year contract ceiling

The wording printed in the Young Professional notice is “BELOW 32 years” as on 01.11.2026. This is stricter than a condition stated as “maximum 32 years”. Someone who has already reached the 32nd birthday by that reference date is not below 32. The present notice does not publish a lower age threshold or category-wise age-relaxation schedule; no numerical relaxation should be presumed.

The 35-year limit appears in a different clause. It governs how long the contractual engagement may continue, even if performance is satisfactory. The period is initially one year, potentially extended by one-year blocks for up to two additional years, or until attainment of age 35, whichever comes first. In other words, neither a three-year contract nor employment until 35 is guaranteed merely because the candidate is selected.

Age or contract referenceMeaning
1 November 2026Eligibility assessment for the application
Below 32 yearsAge must be strictly under 32 on that cut-off
One yearInitial engagement term
Two additional yearsMaximum number of possible annual extensions, if justified
Age 35Earlier termination ceiling if reached during the permitted engagement

These limits affect real career planning. A candidate should not confuse the application-age rule with the permissible continuation age, and should not budget on receiving a third-year contract without a renewed appointment.

4. 💰 Remuneration: the real year-by-year numbers

The remuneration is a consolidated monthly amount, not a Central Government Pay Matrix level. ICSI's notice gives an annual step-up of ₹5,000 per month in each later contract year, conditional on extension and satisfactory performance.

📊 Official Young Professional monthly remuneration by contract year

Contract yearConsolidated monthly remuneration (INR)
Year 175000
Year 2, if renewed80000
Year 3, if renewed85000

The rise from year 1 to year 2 is ₹5,000 each month, and the same increment applies from year 2 to year 3. The third-year monthly figure is ₹10,000 higher than the first-year figure, but the employer has not promised uninterrupted three-year service. Annual increments are already included in the published figures; they are not to be added a second time.

A candidate can calculate the notional gross base compensation of one full first contract year as ₹9,00,000 (₹75,000 × 12 months). If the contract continued for all three full years at the notified monthly amounts, the combined notional base would be ₹28,80,000 (₹9,00,000 + ₹9,60,000 + ₹10,20,000). These are arithmetic illustrations, not a guarantee of extension or take-home pay; the notice does not provide an itemised tax, contribution or allowance statement.

The document also provides for ₹2,500 per day when a Young Professional is required to attend office on a Sunday or public holiday, depending on the exigencies of work as determined by the respective ROC. That amount is conditional and event-based, not a fixed recurring monthly allowance. It should not be rolled into ₹75,000 or projected as a guaranteed extra day each month.

Why this pay should not be confused with the Assistant Young Professional offer

The ICSI recruitment portal lists a separate advertisement, ICSI/AYPCFC/57/2026, for eight Assistant Young Professionals who need an ICSI Executive pass rather than membership. The same official recruitment window does not make their salaries or qualification requirements interchangeable.

📊 First-year monthly pay: two separate ICSI Central Facility Centre recruitments

Separate ICSI recruitmentFirst-year monthly remuneration (INR)
Young Professional — advertisement 56/202675000
Assistant Young Professional — advertisement 57/202640000

The monthly difference in first-year consolidated remuneration is ₹35,000, while the number of notified positions is 5 versus 8 respectively. No combined thirteen-post recruitment is being claimed: these are two separately advertised positions with different qualification standards. The comparison is grounded in their individual official 2026 notices, not an estimated private-sector salary benchmark.

5. What full-time, target-based service means for an applicant

ICSI states that Young Professionals will work Monday through Saturday, with 48 working hours each week, potentially influenced by the achievement of assigned targets. It also says a Young Professional cannot take up another assignment during the period of appointment. This restriction matters to a practising or consulting Company Secretary who might otherwise expect to continue independent professional engagements alongside the role.

Before deciding to apply, evaluate whether the specified work location, six-day schedule and full-time exclusivity fit existing professional responsibilities. A contractual offer should not be mistaken for permission to work simultaneously on private retainers or outside jobs. The notice does not give a published approval mechanism for exceptions to the no-other-assignment condition.

The selected person will undergo an orientation programme to become acquainted with Central Facility Centre functions. That is a post-selection induction, not a newly announced recruitment examination. ICSI's notice expressly describes the engagement as temporary and non-official, allows the Institute to terminate the contract without assigning reasons, and states that the assignment does not confer a right to future employment with ICSI or the Government of India. There is no assurance of regularisation.

ICSI also requires sound character and refers to criminal antecedents or a police FIR as possible disqualification grounds, according to the stated terms. The applicant should be truthful in declarations. This is a condition to read carefully, not a basis to invent additional police certificates or a universal background-verification schedule before selection.

6. 📄 Applying correctly: the avoidable mistakes highlighted in the notice

The only advertised application route is online, through the ICSI Recruitment Management System. The portal lists the Young Professional recruitment as ICSI/YPCFC/56/2026. Candidates should select the Young Professional entry, not the visually similar Assistant Young Professional advertisement numbered 57/2026.

Online application begins06 November 2026
Online application closes20 November 2026
Final selection scheduleNot published in the four-page advertisement
Venue for work if engagedIICA campus, IMT Manesar, Haryana

The notification does not specify the hour at which the online portal will close on 20 November. Submitting well before the final day is more reliable than treating 11:59 PM as an officially guaranteed deadline.

A suitable order for preparing an application is:

  1. Confirm ICSI membership and age below 32 as of 01.11.2026; check the experience clauses on pages 1 and 2 if your professional history is unusual.
  2. Prepare a concise résumé with the membership and work chronology expressed accurately. The upload is limited to 100 KB—check the final file size, not merely its name or extension.
  3. Open the official ICSI recruitment portal and choose Young Professional (Central Facility Centers), advertisement 56/2026.
  4. Enter qualification, experience, contact details and educational percentage figures carefully. Round down reported degree/diploma percentages to the lower whole number: 49.8 must be entered as 49, not 50; convert grades numerically where applicable.
  5. Avoid the special characters that the notice warns against in short-form fields, and keep university names, specialisations and responsibilities concise enough for the application fields.
  6. Submit the form online, retain a personal printout, and check the registered email account for further information. Do not post a printed application, CV or certificates to ICSI; original documents may be requested later for verification.

The notice recommends Internet Explorer or Google Chrome and asks applicants to enable JavaScript. Browser references in the advertisement are instructions for accessing the official form, not part of the recruitment qualification. A working personal email address is essential because ICSI may communicate selection information by email rather than post.

Application fee: do not invent a payment demand

The four-page Young Professional notice does not announce an application fee. This is not sufficient evidence to state that a fee is definitely ₹0 or that there is a published fee exemption. Applicants should rely on the official application workflow and the instructions visible there, rather than third-party payment requests.

7. How selection is actually described

The recruitment announces screening by a Selection Committee. The notice says shortlisted applicants will be informed about the final selection process. It does not publish a named mandatory written test, an examination syllabus, marks split, qualifying score, interview date or confirmed venue for a selection exercise.

Selection pointStatus under this notice
Application receipt and initial scrutinyAnnounced
Selection Committee shortlistingAnnounced
Further selection arrangementsTo be communicated to shortlisted candidates
Mandatory written examinationNot announced
Personal interview format or scoringNot announced
Selection-result dateNot announced
Original documentsTo be produced when subsequently required

The distinction matters: a candidate can prepare intelligently without being told to study for a fictional 100-question CBT. ICSI may decide the eventual process, and candidates should follow official communication rather than treating a predicted test date as fact. There is no TA/DA for the selection process, joining or completion of the assignment. That cost consideration applies if selection requires travel.

A substantive professional preparation plan, not a claimed official exam syllabus

For a Company Secretary considered for company and LLP e-form processing, the most productive preparation is to practise the kind of legal and document reasoning stated in the job description. The following are editorial study areas, not an ICSI-issued selection syllabus or scoring scheme.

A. Companies Act, 2013 — understanding the legal nature of a filing. Refresh the difference between a statutory declaration, a board/member resolution, an authorised signatory's attestation and supporting records. Practise identifying whether a proposed filing's facts are internally consistent and whether an applicable rule calls for a particular attachment or declaration. Use the latest authoritative texts for the form being examined rather than memorising a historically fixed checklist.

B. LLP Act, 2008 — a distinct entity framework. An LLP is not simply a company with another label. Practise explaining why incorporation and subsequent filing responsibilities must be assessed under the LLP law and rules applicable to that entity. A statement that is sufficient in a company context may not establish compliance for an LLP, and vice versa.

C. Centralised processing versus jurisdictional oversight. Distinguish the role of central registration, scrutiny, accelerated exit and form-processing facilities. Be ready to explain what an authorised processing centre can check or process and why the assigned office's instructions remain decisive. Do not assume all powers of a territorial ROC shift permanently to a central office merely because that office handles an e-form.

D. Evidence and discrepancy handling. Take a fictional filing, list every asserted fact, identify the document that supports it, mark any discrepancy and explain the rule-dependent next step. An example is inconsistent dates across a declaration and an uploaded resolution. The objective is to test professional reasoning, not to assume a right to reject any filing outside the official process.

E. Workflow discipline and quality under targets. Prepare to discuss prioritisation when several filings have approaching deadlines. Describe how you would avoid overlooking attachments, maintain accurate observations and escalations, and communicate a deficiency clearly. Since the notice emphasises disposal benchmarks, avoid presenting only legal theory without an operational answer.

F. Membership and professional conduct. Keep the basis of your qualification, work history, confidentiality obligations and conflicts of interest easy to explain. The advertisement's express ban on other assignments means a practising professional should assess how exclusivity would affect any existing engagements.

These topics are grounded in the duties described in the original advertisement and, where the functions of the named centres are explained, in Ministry of Corporate Affairs' official materials. They do not imply an unannounced interview question bank or provide a guaranteed selection strategy.

8. Evidence worth having ready if shortlisted

The notice expressly states that original documents will be required for verification later, though it does not issue an exhaustive annexure checklist for this Young Professional recruitment. A candidate can reduce ambiguity by keeping membership proof, academic documents entered in the form, a transparent experience chronology, relevant appointment/experience records and personal identification ready to substantiate the entries made.

For experience, separate time spent in the CS-course curriculum from later professional work. Describe actual compliance responsibilities instead of relying only on broad designations such as “assistant” or “executive”. If a relevant contract overlaps another professional assignment, make that chronology clear. This suggestion assists accurate verification; it does not invent a mandatory new certificate beyond the notice.

Screening and final selection are distinct. A successful application upload is not a selection letter, and an email that merely invites the applicant to the next stage should not be mistaken for a permanent appointment. Keep records of the form submitted and email communications, including the recruitment number, so the Young Professional and Assistant Young Professional applications cannot be confused.

9. A decision guide for three typical applicant profiles

Already an ICSI member, under 32, with around one year of relevant experience: The application aligns closely with the stated essential professional status and the explicitly preferred experience duration. Consider whether your circumstances permit full-time work at Manesar, including six working days and no other assignments. Your likelihood of shortlisting is not quantifiable from the published notice.

Newly admitted ICSI member with limited post-qualification work: The advertisement's one-year preference is not plainly a mandatory minimum, and page 2 mentions consideration of experience up to one year. Do not self-disqualify merely because you have not completed twelve months, but do not claim experience from curricular training. Your membership proof and precise chronology remain essential.

Experienced practising Company Secretary with more than one year post-qualification experience: This is where the first-page preference and second-page “up to one year” wording must be clarified. The recruitment itself does not unambiguously explain how longer experience will be treated. Before relying on an assumption, ask ICSI HR for confirmation and weigh the no-outside-assignment clause against your current professional work.

For someone holding only ICSI Executive-pass status, this five-post Young Professional opening is not the right qualification route. The independently advertised eight-post Assistant Young Professional recruitment uses a different entry standard; check its original notice if that route matches your qualification.

10. Dates, contacts and official references

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs' publicly available official materials give context about the CRC, CSC, CPC and C-PACE facilities; the eligibility, remuneration, timetable and service conditions in this article follow the four-page ICSI Young Professional advertisement itself. The advertisement does not print its own issue date or numeric advertisement identifier on its pages; the identifier ICSI/YPCFC/56/2026 comes from the live ICSI recruitment list. Neither a written-test date nor a result date has been declared.

Post description

Young Professional — Company Secretary Member, Central Facility Centres (five positions)

Who can apply: Qualified Company Secretaries who are members of ICSI by the recruitment eligibility reference date 1 November 2026 and below 32 years of age on that date. This is not the ICSI Assistant Young Professional post and passing Executive level alone is not a substitute for membership. The five openings are not divided by category or by CRC, C-PACE, CSC and CPC in the advertisement.

Experience — read both clauses carefully: Page 1 gives preference to those with at least one year post-qualification experience. Page 2 separately says candidates with up to one year of post-qualification experience will be considered. The two sentences are not accompanied by a clarifying definition or ranking rule. One year is a preference, not unequivocally a mandatory minimum; the treatment of professionals with longer experience requires clarification. Training forming part of the CS curriculum is specifically not counted. Experience should be evidenced against membership and professional work dates rather than just an overall number.

Worksite and job: IICA campus, Plot Nos. 6, 7 and 8, Sector 5, IMT Manesar, near Gurugram, Haryana 122050. ICSI recruits for full-time assignments in Ministry of Corporate Affairs Central Facility Centres. Examine and process company and LLP statutory e-forms under the Companies Act, 2013, LLP Act, 2008, and applicable rules as allocated by the centre. The professional must cope with a specified minimum number of form-disposal targets; performance above benchmarks is material to annual appraisal. No number of e-forms per day has been publicly prescribed in this advertisement.

Working obligations: Six working days from Monday to Saturday, 48 hours weekly and full-time engagement; holding another assignment while serving as Young Professional is not permitted. Selected candidates complete an orientation programme. Contract is temporary and expressly does not provide a claim to regular ICSI or Government of India employment. ICSI reserves a right to terminate the contract without assigning reasons under the stated terms.

Pay: ₹75,000 a month consolidated in the initial one-year contract. ₹80,000 in the second year and ₹85,000 in the third are published only for years when the engagement is renewed following satisfactory review and operational requirements. An extra ₹2,500 per Sunday/public holiday attendance day may be paid when the assigned ROC determines such attendance is needed. It is not an automatic addition to every month's salary. Engagement can extend to at most three years or until attainment of age 35, whichever is earlier.

How to submit: Only online through ICSI's recruitment site between 6 and 20 November 2026, choosing advertisement ICSI/YPCFC/56/2026. The reference date for age, membership and experience is 1 November 2026. Keep a résumé at or below the 100 KB upload limit; round down academic percentages entered in the form and convert grades to percentages. Print the final form for personal reference but do not send a printed form or certificates to ICSI. Monitor the registered email for selection communication.

Selection and preparation: The Selection Committee will scrutinise applications and shortlist candidates; further selection details are to be shared. No fixed written examination, interview date, mark distribution, pass mark or official selection syllabus has been announced. Preparing to analyse inconsistencies in statutory filings, company-versus-LLP obligations, centralised processing, professional ethics and deadline management is relevant to the advertised work but must not be confused with a notified test pattern.

Duties

Examine and process company and LLP electronic forms in the assigned MCA Central Facility Centre under the Companies Act, 2013, LLP Act, 2008 and corresponding rules, with prescribed form disposal targets and performance appraisals.

Responsibilities

  • Serve full time Monday through Saturday, 48 hours per week; do not undertake outside assignments during contract.
  • Undergo official orientation upon selection and comply with annual performance review and contractual conditions.
Post-specific instructions
  • ICSI professional membership is essential; an Executive pass without membership is insufficient.
  • Applicant must be strictly below 32 years on 1 November 2026.
  • One-year experience is expressly preferred, not stated as mandatory; another clause refers to up to one year. Seek ICSI clarification for longer experience.
  • CS-course training is not counted towards post-qualification experience.
  • Application accepted only online from 6 through 20 November 2026 under YPCFC/56/2026.
  • Keep résumé upload at or below 100 KB; accurately report academic percentages by rounding down and converting grades.
  • Working hours are Monday through Saturday, 48 weekly, with no outside professional assignment permitted during engagement.
  • Further selection details will be communicated to shortlisted candidates through official ICSI channels.
Reservation note

Five Young Professional positions are announced without a category-wise reservation roster or centre-wise allotment in the four-page notification.
