The syllabus includes basic algebra, arithmetic, probability, mensuration, charts/tables, sequences, reasoning puzzles, directions, rankings, current affairs, polity, science, geography and history. RITES itself uses around for each section's distribution. Written qualifying standard 50% UR/EWS and 45% applicable reserved-post candidates; no negative marking. Candidates reaching the subsequent interview stage face a 60% UR/EWS or 50% reserved-category interview qualifying gate. Merit uses 60:40 written:interview and final medical/document controls.
The CL/10 and CL/11 written events take place during the SAME evening shift on 29 November. Do not promise a candidate can sit both.
