AEES Principal CBT 2026 — Recruitment 01/2026

Applicable advertised row: 1/25, 4 vacancy/vacancies (SC 0, ST 0, OBC-NCL 1, EWS 1, UR 2); recruiting authority AEES, Notice 01/2026. Notified computer-based written exam structure

150 multiple-choice questions, 150 marks, 150 minutes, no negative marking.

Concerned-subject eligibility / preparation context: Master’s degree at least 50% AND NCTE B.Ed. ≥50%, or approved integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed./four-year integrated qualification ≥50%. Additionally, Principal at Level 12, or VP three years at Level 10, or PGT/Lecturer 12 years at Level 8 (or qualifying 12-year VP+PGT combination). Knowledge of computer applications essential. The official broad 75-mark 'Subjects Concerned' component for non-leadership posts does not publish all 75 individual micro-topics in the main PDF: detailed syllabus is provided on AEES's designated application portal. Do not replace it with an unrelated coaching syllabus or historical internal-promotion paper.

Stage-by-stage rules and downstream lifecycle

• Qualifying CBT marks: regular threshold 60% UR/EWS; 54% for eligible SC/ST/OBC/PwBD reserved-post candidates. AEES may reduce in shortage of qualifying candidates to not less than 55% and 49% respectively. This is a qualifying percentage, not an already declared recruitment cutoff/rank list.
• Shortlisting: vacancy-count based category ratios determine calls for interview/skill test; meeting a score threshold alone is not a right to a call letter.
• Interview at AEES Anushaktinagar, Mumbai: CBT and interview each contribute 50%; a separate qualifying standard applies to each.
• Provisional CBT answer key: within three days after actual test; objections online within 72 hours; fee ₹250 per question, refunded when the challenge is accepted. Final key within fifteen days of CBT, with candidate-login visibility up to ten days after publication.
• Document and medical checks: original qualifications, original ID, caste and other claims, acknowledged police verification application/PVC, serving-employee NOC and medical fitness as applicable. No result, admit card or answer key for this specific direct-recruitment exam was published in the source documents.
