Officially notified examination scheme for Senior Assistant ND0601. Stage 1: Preliminary Test, 100 MCQs, 200 marks, 2 hours 30 minutes; 20 GK, 20 reasoning, 20 maths and 40 administration-of-higher-education questions. +2 correct and -0.5 incorrect; Preliminary only shortlists and is not counted in final score. The Preliminary cutoff is formula-based, not an already released numerical category cutoff; SC/ST candidates have 5% relaxation and PwBD candidates 10% in the cutoff according to the scheme. Stage 2: 200-mark descriptive Main (2 hours) on education administration, finance/budget, Fundamental/Supplementary Rules, GFR, GeM, pensions, grievance handling and ICT; 100-mark qualifying Skill Test (50/100 minimum) on management of university administrative units, office procedures, IT, noting and drafting.
