काम का स्वरूप: Civil और Mechanical जिम्मेदारियाँ
Civil पद में dry dock, berth, workshop, भवन, सड़क, drainage और अन्य ship-repair सुविधाओं के निर्माण, रखरखाव और मरम्मत का समन्वय रहेगा। अधिकारी को साइट प्रगति, माप, सामग्री और गुणवत्ता का रिकॉर्ड देखना, contractors तथा workforce की निगरानी करना, estimates/work orders और reports तैयार करने में सहायता देना तथा safety और environmental requirements का पालन सुनिश्चित करना होगा। जहाज docking, afloat repair, housekeeping और staging/scaffolding से जुड़े Civil काम भी शामिल हैं।
Mechanical पद में Shipyard/Dockyard के mechanical कार्यों और कर्मचारियों की निगरानी मुख्य है। इस पद के लिए दो साल का supervisory अनुभव अलग से जरूरी है; केवल सात वर्ष का सामान्य mechanical अनुभव पर्याप्त नहीं होगा। हिंदी, बंगाली या अंग्रेज़ी बोल सकना और ERP/SAP या computerised काम का अनुभव वांछनीय है, अनिवार्य योग्यता नहीं।

Phase II में अपने काम के अनुभव पर अधिकतम 10 मिनट की PowerPoint प्रस्तुति होगी, जिसके 20 अंक हैं। अंतिम merit Phase I और Phase II के कुल अंकों पर बनेगी। बराबरी होने पर पहले discipline-related objective marks, फिर अधिक आयु वाले उम्मीदवार को वरीयता दी जाएगी।

Duties

The Mechanical role is for an experienced shipyard/dockyard Mechanical professional. In addition to seven years of relevant experience, the candidate must show at least two years supervising Mechanical work and workmen.
Duties
Supervise mechanical works and workmen engaged in ship-repair activity. Coordinate tasks with shipyard teams, support timely and safe completion of repair work, and follow CSL quality, safety and site instructions while working in docks, shops and ship environments.
