DHS Ramgarh 2026 — Selection Process and Post-specific Preparation Guide
Applicable to Advertisement 01/2026(DHS), 32 contractual appointments under the District Health Society, Ramgarh. This is a guide to the selection actually described by the recruiting authority, not a claimed official written-exam syllabus. The notice says applicants may be assessed through academic/technical marks, Written Test, Skill Test, Interview or a combination, as applicable. It has not fixed an exam date, a paper duration, a question count or a marks/negative-marking formula.
Step 1 — eligibility and paper scrutiny
The District Health Society receives fully documented applications by registered/speed post until 5:00 PM on 27 November 2026 at the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Chhattarmandu, Ramgarh 825101. The authority can shortlist applicants who satisfy the role's notified qualifications and conditions. Postal receipt, a proper prescribed form, separate fee/DD where relevant, Jharkhand local-resident proof, counselling/nursing/rehabilitation/pharmacy registration and role-specific practical credentials are not minor details; they determine whether an applicant can be considered at all.
The printed 22 programme/post lines must remain distinct. In particular, NUHM and RBSK Pharmacists have general Pharmacy/State Pharmacy Council requirements; AYUSH Pharmacist does not duplicate that rule. Clinical Psychologist is not the same as NCD Counsellor; SNCU GNM alone specifies a two-year hospital-work minimum among the four GNM programme entries. Candidates should assess their own eligibility against the precise title printed in their chosen programme.
Step 2 — how the authority may assess candidates
The notice uses academic/technical examination marks and mentions written, skill and interview assessment, one or more if applicable. It does not allocate weights among school marks, nursing/technical qualifications, work experience or oral performance. A candidate cannot calculate a predicted selection percentage from this source. Any later published exam timetable, exact question syllabus, interview list or trade-test instructions will control that particular phase once actually issued.
An applicant can prepare authentic evidence rather than speculate about an unannounced 100-MCQ exam. The following subject-linked preparation areas follow each job's official essential requirements; they are not a separately published departmental examination syllabus.
Nursing: NUHM, NBSU, NHM and SNCU GNM
Revise the actual content of the applicant's recognized GNM and Midwifery training and be prepared to explain clinical placements and council-registration status. SNCU applicants must additionally demonstrate at least two years of hospital experience, so their work certificates and timelines warrant particular attention. Salary and reservations differ: NUHM ₹15,015 and ST 2; NBSU ₹16,564, ST 1/BC-I 1; NHM ₹16,564, SC 2/BC-II 1; SNCU ₹16,564, ST 1/BC-I 1. A programme-specific skill assessment has not yet been declared.
Pharmacy: NUHM, RBSK and AYUSH
NUHM and RBSK candidates should be ready to establish their recognized D.Pharm route, active Jharkhand State Pharmacy Council registration and notified MS Office/internet skills. For AYUSH candidates the relevant recognized system-specific diploma (Ayurvedic, Unani or Homoeopathic compounder) is central. The authority has not published a pharmacy question-paper blueprint or dosage-calculation test, and therefore such topics must not be described as announced assessment units.
Mental health and rehabilitation: NCD cluster
For the Multi Rehabilitation Worker, verify the exact certificate/DMRW/CBRW route, 10+2 and Rehabilitation Council registration. For Psychiatric Nurse, record two years in the psychiatry/mental-health institution/hospital, not simply general ward experience. The Clinical Psychologist should prepare evidence of the approved two-year full-time M.Phil with supervised clinical training along with the postgraduate psychology qualification. NCD Counsellor needs two years healthcare-facility counselling service. Psychiatric Social Worker needs the relevant postgraduate course of at least two years. Each of these is a different professional gate; no generic mental-health MCQ paper is specified.
RNTCP tuberculosis programme
STS requires the stated graduation/sanitary-inspector academic route, a computer certificate of at least two months and a permanent two-wheeler licence. STLS requires the relevant graduate/MLT route, computer certificate and licence; RNTCP/smear-microscopy exposure is preferential. The TBHV route accepts certain science, health-worker and TBHV training alternatives plus the stated computer certificate. PPM Coordinator must show postgraduation, one year relevant communication/ACSM/public-private health work and a two-wheeler licence. Lab Technician must show 10+2 with medical laboratory qualification and one year NTEP or sputum-smear microscopy work. The Accountant post requires commerce graduation and two years of appropriate double-entry/accounts-software experience. No exact RNTCP technical or riding test has yet been scheduled in this notice.
Block Data Manager: the only explicitly quantified typing standard
The office specifies minimum 40 WPM English typing as mandatory. A candidate should verify the relevant computer-education alternative (graduation plus specified diploma/PGDCA/DOEACC route, or BCA/B.Sc. IT/Computer Science/DOEACC A level), two years post-qualification experience, MS Office/internet ability and elementary troubleshooting of software, printer and connectivity issues. Hindi typing is desirable. No duration, error tolerance, keyboard software or minimum accuracy percentage for a later typing test appears in the original advertisement—do not invent any.
Counselling, nutrition and ANM
ARSH Counsellor admits listed sociology/psychology/social-work/home-science/rural-development graduation or recognized GNM, plus at least one year relevant work. Female applicants are preferred, but the UR roster is not female-only. MTC Nutrition Counsellor is restricted to women, with the specified Food & Nutrition/Home Science degree and one year related work. The ANM backlog vacancy is a distinct BC-I seat requiring 10+2, recognized/INC-approved ANM and Jharkhand Nursing Council registration. No official job-specific skill-test question list is provided for these posts.
Final list, reporting and what is still unannounced
The final merit list is to be displayed for one week at the office as notified, with newspaper notice of its publication. The source does not give a qualifying cutoff, answer-key challenge rules, admit-card release date, written-test venue, interview date or final marks formula. Applicants should follow the official Ramgarh District recruitment page for genuine subsequent notices. The absence of a dated event does not mean that a selection stage has already taken place.
