DU Assistant R&P/325/2026 — स्वतंत्र परीक्षा एवं पूर्ण प्रकाशित syllabus

यह DU के 215 Additional Assistant पदों (R&P/325/2026, ND0401) का Exam record है; इसे R&P/323/2026 (126 posts) के exam से न जोड़ें। विश्वविद्यालय ने अभी किसी paper या skill test की actual date, reporting hour या centre नहीं घोषित की। इसलिए यहाँ कोई काल्पनिक dated event नहीं है।

Stage 1 — Preliminary (Shortlisting only)

Timing: 2 hours 30 minutes, with permitted extra time for eligible PwBD applicants per original scheme. Marking: +2 correct; −0.5 incorrect. This is NOT a permanent final merit score. The qualifying floor depends on half of the average score of the top 5% appeared (top-2 fallback), and reductions for SC/ST and PwBD as notified. Prelims-to-Main shortlist is generally 30 for first post and 15 for each additional post, including all tied candidates at cutoff.

Stage 2A — Main (Descriptive)

200 marks, 2 hours. Official subjects: Educational Administration and Management; functional aspects of Rules in Higher Education Institutions. Prepare budget formulation/execution, regulatory bodies, ICT in universities, FR/SR, GFR, GeM, pension, grievances and note drafting. There is no officially declared per-topic mark split.

Stage 2B — Skill (Qualifying)

100 marks; at least 50 required. Manual of Office Procedures, noting/drafting, computer operations and English typing 35 WPM OR Hindi typing 30 WPM. Time determined by evaluators. Skill does not contribute additional merit marks after qualification. The scheme states that Preliminary, Main and Skill are bilingual English/Hindi but the candidate must keep the same medium throughout.

Special DU contractual/ad hoc/temporary employee provision

Eligible DU/college workers meeting the specific 25 March 2021 condition can receive a one-mark-per-year service credit up to 10 as prescribed, including Main-merit calculation. This is not available automatically for all private employees.
