The official 30 October 2026 notice states Part-A MCQ attempted in one sitting by all admitted candidates; based on Part-A scores post-wise 7 candidates for the first vacancy and 5 for each subsequent vacancy are called to Part-B descriptive and Skill / Computer Proficiency / Trade tests. The Institute may apply higher shortlisting criteria under RPN 2016.

For Junior Assistant, practice office computing, spreadsheets and Hindi/English drafting; for Junior Technician, relevant CSE/IT/ECE/EE/Instrumentation laboratory fundamentals and safety. These are study suggestions, NOT an official published syllabus. Exam/selection dates must come from an actual later Institute notice.
