Detailed information, preparation guidance and useful context.
🏦 CWC 2026 is not one uniform exam. It is eight post codes, four different objective blueprints, two selection routes and one unusually important separately timed English descriptive section. The smartest preparation decision is to identify your post code BEFORE buying a question bank or making a timetable. This guide uses CWC’s 52-page direct-recruitment advertisement (17 October 2026), converts its tables into candidate decisions, and adds original worked examples and practice questions. Numbers labelled “practice example” are illustrations, not published cut-offs.
🔗 Primary evidence: official CWC advertisement (52 pages) · related published CWC job record. The advertisement controls where this explanation and a later corrigendum differ.
⚡ Quick-read cockpit: five decisions in 60 seconds
| Question to settle | What the notice actually says | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Which route? | 01–06 Assistant Manager; 07–08 Junior Executive | Choose the exact code and qualification |
| Total written load? | 200 objective questions/200 marks + 2 English descriptive questions/30 marks = 202 questions/230 marks | Practise both formats |
| How much time? | 180 minutes with separately timed sections | No carry-over minutes across sections |
| How are wrong answers treated? | One-fourth of the marks assigned to each wrong objective answer | Use expected-value logic, not blind guessing |
| Interview? | Only AM codes 01–06; final online/interview weight 85:15 | JE candidates must not prepare for a nonexistent interview |
🗺️ First choose your lane: eligibility is not interchangeable
| Post code | Post | Seats | Core qualifying route (abbreviated) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | Assistant Manager – General | 70 | Two-year PG degree or PG diploma |
| 02 | Assistant Manager – Technical | 60 | Specified B.E./B.Tech agriculture/food/biotechnology disciplines |
| 03 | Assistant Manager – Finance | 10 | B.Com + 3 years qualifying finance-accounting work OR any graduation + CA/CMA Intermediate |
| 04 | Assistant Manager – Civil | 22 | B.E./B.Tech Civil Engineering |
| 05 | Assistant Manager – Electrical | 5 | B.E./B.Tech Electrical or Electrical & Electronics |
| 06 | Assistant Manager – Mechanical | 4 | B.E./B.Tech Mechanical |
| 07 | Junior Executive – General | 78 | Graduation, with computer/MS Office working knowledge |
| 08 | Junior Executive – Technical | 78 | Prescribed B.Sc. disciplines plus computer/MS Office knowledge |
🔍 Do not infer “postgraduate preferred” for code 07 or “engineering degree accepted” for code 08. Read the actual course wording in the official advertisement. For Finance code 03, the three-year experience is attached to the B.Com route; the alternative CA/CMA Intermediate route still requires a completed graduation. Articleship is not equivalent to qualifying regular employment under the work-experience route.
🧩 Vacancy composition: a visual read, not an eligibility shortcut
📊 Assistant Manager vs Junior Executive share
The share of 327 advertised positions describes supply, not your personal competition or likelihood of selection.
| Group / section | Proportional bar | Verified / calculated share |
|---|---|---|
| Assistant Manager codes 01–06 | ██████████████░░░░░░░░░░░░ | 171 seats · 52.3% |
| Junior Executive codes 07–08 | ████████████░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ | 156 seats · 47.7% |
Chart method: bars are rounded to the nearest visible character; percentages use exact numerator/denominator and may not sum to exactly 100.0% after one-decimal rounding. Bars are not vacancy-by-category cut-offs.
📊 Where 327 seats are concentrated
Four large post codes together total 286 vacancies; remaining four hold 41. The proportions are arithmetic from the official vacancy matrix.
| Group / section | Proportional bar | Verified / calculated share |
|---|---|---|
| AM General 01 | █████░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ | 70 seats · 21.4% |
| AM Technical 02 | ████░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ | 60 seats · 18.3% |
| JE General 07 | ██████░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ | 78 seats · 23.9% |
| JE Technical 08 | ██████░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ | 78 seats · 23.9% |
| Other AM codes 03–06 | ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ | 41 seats · 12.5% |
Chart method: bars are rounded to the nearest visible character; percentages use exact numerator/denominator and may not sum to exactly 100.0% after one-decimal rounding. Bars are not vacancy-by-category cut-offs.
📌 286 ÷ 327 = 87.46%. It would be misleading to advise every candidate to apply to the four largest codes: post-code qualification and reservation constraints must be satisfied first. The two Civil SC backlog vacancies are INCLUDED in the 22 Civil seats; 11 Ex-Servicemen seats within each JE code are horizontal, not an extra 22 jobs.
⏱️ Four paper blueprints: same 230 marks, different time economics
| Route | Section: marks / time (minutes) | Objective total | Descriptive |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 AM General | Reasoning+Computer 60/50; English 40/25; Quant+DI 60/50; General Awareness 40/25 | 200 / 150 min | 30 marks / 30 min |
| 02–06 AM Specialist | Professional 60/55; Awareness 40/20; English 40/25; Reasoning+Computer 30/25; Quant+DI 30/25 | 200 / 150 min | 30 marks / 30 min |
| 07 JE General | Reasoning+Computer 50/45; Quant+DI 50/45; Awareness 50/25; English 50/35 | 200 / 150 min | 30 marks / 30 min |
| 08 JE Technical | Subject 65/55; Reasoning+Computer 40/25; Quant+DI 40/30; Awareness 20/15; English 35/25 | 200 / 150 min | 30 marks / 30 min |
🧠 Real strategic difference: professional questions receive 55 minutes in specialist AM and Technical JE, but JE Technical gets 65 subject questions while AM specialist gets 60. Conversely JE General has 50 General Awareness questions compressed into 25 minutes. Borrowing a generic SSC time allocation would ignore these separately timed windows.
📈 Marks-share lab: objective-paper weighting
📊 Professional/subject share of the 200 objective marks
Percent is calculated from the official question/marks tables; it is not a prediction of which subject will be difficult.
| Group / section | Proportional bar | Verified / calculated share |
|---|---|---|
| AM specialist subject | ████████░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ | 60 marks · 30.0% |
| JE Technical subject | ████████░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ | 65 marks · 32.5% |
| JE General Awareness | ██████░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ | 50 marks · 25.0% |
| AM General Quant+DI | ████████░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ | 60 marks · 30.0% |
Chart method: bars are rounded to the nearest visible character; percentages use exact numerator/denominator and may not sum to exactly 100.0% after one-decimal rounding. Bars are not vacancy-by-category cut-offs.
⛳ Two gates before the final merit list
| Gate | UR | OBC/EWS/SC/ST/PwBD/ESM | Why a candidate cares |
|---|---|---|---|
| Specialist professional/subject section | 40% | 35% | 60-mark paper: 24 UR / 21 other; 65-mark paper: 26 UR / 22.75 other (minimum threshold only) |
| 30-mark descriptive English | 40% | 35% | 12 UR / 10.5 other marks minimum under stated rule |
| Other section & total qualifying | Fixed later by CWC | Fixed later by CWC | Do not invent exam-wide qualifying or final cut-off |
| AM interview 30 marks | 50% for UR/EWS | 45% OBC; 40% SC/ST/PwBD/ESM | 15/30 UR/EWS, 13.5/30 OBC, 12/30 other listed categories |
⚠️ These are published minimum percentages, NOT predicted selection cut-offs. CWC can set or revise other sectional and total requirements under the advertisement. A candidate with 170 total but 11/30 descriptive (UR) has not cleared the descriptive minimum merely because total score is high. For the 65-mark section, percentages can produce fractional calculated marks; this illustration is threshold arithmetic, not a rounding instruction from CWC.
🧮 The negative-marking decision, derived properly
The objective penalty is one-quarter of the assigned marks for each wrong answer. For a +1 / −0.25 / 0 pattern, expected marks from attempting a question are p×1 + (1−p)×(−0.25) = 1.25p − 0.25. Break-even occurs at p = 0.20, assuming exactly these payoffs and no other consequences. This is a mathematical decision rule; it is not an instruction to guess blindly or a promise that attempts above 20% yield a selection.
| Confidence in a 1-mark objective answer | Expected marks if attempted | Interpretation |
|---|---|---|
| 10% | −0.125 | Worse than leaving blank mathematically |
| 20% | 0.000 | Break-even |
| 40% | +0.250 | Positive expectation |
| 60% | +0.500 | Positive expectation |
| 80% | +0.750 | High expected return |
🔬 Two scored mock-result autopsies
| Case | Right / wrong / blank objective | Objective after penalty | Descriptive (illustrative) | Raw combined (not official equated score) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A: over-attempting | 115 / 65 / 20 | 115 − 65×0.25 = 98.75 | 18/30 | 116.75/230 |
| B: fewer avoidable mistakes | 115 / 35 / 50 | 115 − 35×0.25 = 106.25 | 18/30 | 124.25/230 |
📌 Both candidates answered 115 correctly. Case B scores 7.5 raw marks more because it avoids 30 incorrect attempts. In the real selection process, sectional qualifications, equating/normalisation across sessions (if applicable) and the appropriate next stage also matter; these examples deliberately do not simulate the final official merit formula.
🧾 Why online score alone does not settle Assistant Manager merit
The 85:15 exam/interview weighting applies to Assistant Manager codes 01–06, subject to qualifying both stages. For learning only, take two candidates each with 180/230 in the online exam. Candidate A interviews at 20/30 and B at 25/30. Their illustrative proportional combined scores out of 100 would be A = (180/230×85)+(20/30×15) = 76.52 and B = (180/230×85)+(25/30×15) = 79.02. This worked transformation assumes the published weights applied to simple percentages. The official equating, final-score algorithm and any rounding are controlled by CWC—not by this blog.
That 5-mark interview difference corresponds to 2.5 points on this illustrative combined scale. For JE 07/08, there is no interview and therefore NO 85:15 calculation. Manager candidates may be called up to 1:5 for interview/DV, and JE candidates up to 1:3 for DV; those are maximum shortlisting ratios, not acceptance probabilities.
💼 Finance eligibility laboratory: three documentary outcomes
| Candidate profile | Can the route be considered? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| B.Com + 3 years regular post-qualification Finance & Accounting employment | Yes, conditional | Meets route A in principle; documents and notice wording govern |
| B.Sc + completed CA Intermediate; no three-year work history | Yes, conditional | Alternative graduation + CA Intermediate pathway (route B) |
| CA Intermediate without any completed graduation | No on stated wording | Route B explicitly also requires a graduate degree |
| B.Com + only articleship for 3 years | Not via route A solely on articleship | Official notice excludes articleship from qualifying experience |
📦 Why CWC’s job actually connects to General Awareness and professional sections
Warehousing is a supply-chain activity involving safe storage, quality preservation, inventory identification and movement. These ideas provide exam-appropriate examples, but only topics explicitly listed in the CWC syllabus should be treated as officially enumerated. Practice learning, not assumed past-year questions: a 1,000-tonne warehouse at 78% occupancy stores 780 tonnes; at 90%, 900 tonnes. Capacity utilisation is stock/capacity, not tonnes delivered per day. In financial accounting, a Bank Reconciliation Statement explains differences between cash book and bank statement, rather than changing physical warehouse stock. In food science, water activity and moisture percentage are different properties.
| Code group | Notified syllabus anchors from the PDF | A useful applied practice drill |
|---|---|---|
| 02 Technical AM | Drying, moisture, preservation, food microbiology, silos, fumigation principles | Moisture mass-balance; food deterioration; controlled atmosphere rationale |
| 03 Finance AM | Ind AS, BRS, cash flow, GST, audit, cost control | Bank reconciliation, ledger classification, cost-volume reasoning |
| 04 Civil AM | Soil/foundations, concrete, hydrology, surveying, GIS/GPS | Unit conversion, load area, water-flow and surveying geometry |
| 05 Electrical AM | KCL/KVL, AC networks, circuits, three-phase systems | Circuit current, resistors, power-factor interpretation |
| 07 JE General | Reasoning/Computer, quant, awareness, English | 25-minute 50-question awareness sprint with accuracy log |
The official advertisement describes professional outlines as broad/indicative and subject to variation. These original drills are educational illustrations: do not claim the exam will necessarily contain our precise questions.
🗓️ 14-day evidence-led preparation, not an invented exam timetable
| Days | What to study | Measurable daily output |
|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | Confirm code; copy official section/timer table; diagnostic practice | One timed baseline per section + error log |
| 3–5 | Weakest scored sections; quant reasoning accuracy | 40 reviewed errors, not blind attempt volume |
| 6–7 | Role-specific applied concepts and formulas | Two sectional mocks + one explanatory revision sheet |
| 8–10 | English descriptive + 30-minute keyboard writing practice | One short essay/letter-type task reviewed for structure and grammar |
| 11–12 | Full separated-timer practice according to your route | 200 objective items under the correct section timers |
| 13 | Eligibility and document readiness | Original mark sheets, category certificates, identity consistency checklist |
| 14 | Post-mock audit + revise errors | Reattempt incorrect questions without answers visible |
The 14-day timetable is an editorial study suggestion—not a calendar issued by CWC. The initial advertisement says the exam dates will be announced later. The official application closing date is 15 November 2026 at 23:59 IST; plan the application separately from this study cycle.
🚨 Eight high-risk mistakes worth catching before payment
- Treating 327 vacancies as a single shared merit list; each post code and relevant category matters.
- Assuming Civil’s two SC backlog seats are additional to its announced 22.
- Applying to AM General with only an ordinary bachelor’s degree; check the two-year PG qualification.
- Assuming CA Intermediate eliminates the need for graduation in Finance.
- Counting CA articleship automatically as route-A regular Finance employment.
- Forgetting that each objective test is separately timed; 180 minutes are not freely redistributable.
- Believing the descriptive 30 marks can be offset with a larger objective total even when a minimum is missed.
- Claiming a fixed exam date, admit-card issue date or predicted cut-off when CWC has not notified one.
🧠 30 solved MCQs — clear options, worked answers and exam traps
📘 How to practise: Read the question, choose A/B/C/D and then compare your method with the answer immediately below. Every question is an original practice item; the announced post-code patterns and syllabus references are taken from the CWC advertisement, not from an alleged previous-year paper.
🎯 Set 1 — Blueprint & core applications (Q01–Q05)
❓ Q01. A JE General applicant should use which objective blueprint?
- A. 60/40/60/40
- B. 50/50/50/50
- C. 65/40/40/20/35
- D. 60/40/40/30/30
✅ Correct answer: B — 50/50/50/50
💡 Why: JE General (code 07) has four 50-mark objective sections: reasoning/computer, quant/DI, awareness and English.
⚠️ Exam trap: Do not use AM General’s 60/40/60/40 split.
❓ Q02. Warehouse grain stock contains 200 kg water in 1000 kg total wet grain. Moisture on wet basis?
- A. 10%
- B. 20%
- C. 25%
- D. 80%
✅ Correct answer: B — 20%
💡 Why: Wet-basis moisture is water mass divided by total wet mass: 200/1000×100=20%. This is a learning example related to storage moisture, not an official past question.
❓ Q03. Which section in JE General has 50 questions in 25 minutes?
- A. Reasoning
- B. General Awareness
- C. English
- D. Quant/DI
✅ Correct answer: B — General Awareness
💡 Why: The CWC timing table assigns 50 General Awareness questions to 25 minutes.
❓ Q04. Why would a Finance AM prepare a bank reconciliation statement?
- A. To calculate grain density
- B. To compare cash-book and bank-statement balances
- C. To test electrical current
- D. To change tax rate
✅ Correct answer: B — To compare cash-book and bank-statement balances
💡 Why: A BRS reconciles book and bank balances, including timing items such as unpresented cheques or deposits in transit.
❓ Q05. For code 08, the percentage of objective marks in Subject Knowledge is:
- A. 30%
- B. 32.5%
- C. 35%
- D. 65%
✅ Correct answer: B — 32.5%
💡 Why: 65 of 200 objective marks = 32.5%; the descriptive 30 are a separate component.
🧮 Set 2 — Quantitative, eligibility & technical basics (Q06–Q10)
❓ Q06. A warehouse has 1,200 tonnes rated capacity and stores 900 tonnes. Occupancy rate?
- A. 25%
- B. 66.7%
- C. 75%
- D. 133.3%
✅ Correct answer: C — 75%
💡 Why: 900/1200×100=75%. The denominator is available rated capacity, not last month’s dispatches.
❓ Q07. AM interview marks enter combined final weight at:
- A. 30%
- B. 15%
- C. 85%
- D. 50%
✅ Correct answer: B — 15%
💡 Why: The official ratio for online examination to interview is 85:15.
❓ Q08. Which is the exact advertised Finance route B in principle?
- A. CA Intermediate alone
- B. Graduation in any discipline + CA/CMA Intermediate
- C. Class 12 + accounting internship
- D. B.Com + articleship only
✅ Correct answer: B — Graduation in any discipline + CA/CMA Intermediate
💡 Why: Route B retains a graduation requirement while using CA or CMA Intermediate as the other condition.
❓ Q09. A B.Com candidate relies only on CA articleship as 3 years regular Finance work. Best conclusion?
- A. Automatically eligible
- B. Articleship is not counted as qualifying regular experience by the ad
- C. Experience never needed
- D. All internship experience qualifies
✅ Correct answer: B — Articleship is not counted as qualifying regular experience by the ad
💡 Why: The notice excludes articleship from route-A Finance & Accounting experience.
❓ Q10. An Electrical AM practice circuit has 24 V across a 6-ohm resistor. Ideal current?
- A. 0.25 A
- B. 4 A
- C. 6 A
- D. 144 A
✅ Correct answer: B — 4 A
💡 Why: Ohm’s law I=V/R=24/6=4 A. The original PDF’s indicative electrical syllabus names network analysis and circuit laws.
📦 Set 3 — Warehouse maths & negative marking (Q11–Q15)
❓ Q11. If 6 pallets have 25 sacks each and each sack weighs 40 kg, total mass is:
- A. 1500 kg
- B. 3000 kg
- C. 6000 kg
- D. 150 kg
✅ Correct answer: C — 6000 kg
💡 Why: 6×25×40=6000 kg. Separate pallet count, sacks per pallet and mass per sack before multiplying.
❓ Q12. What is the key idea behind FIFO in a warehouse scenario?
- A. Dispatch newest stock first
- B. Dispatch older stock first
- C. Count only damaged stock
- D. Ignore receipt dates
✅ Correct answer: B — Dispatch older stock first
💡 Why: First-In, First-Out prioritises earlier received stock. It is one inventory-flow principle, not a blanket prescription for every perishable product.
❓ Q13. In a +1/−0.25/0 scheme, 120 right, 40 wrong, 40 blank scores:
- A. 110
- B. 120
- C. 100
- D. 130
✅ Correct answer: A — 110
💡 Why: 120 − 40×0.25 = 110 raw objective marks; blanks neither earn nor lose.
❓ Q14. The penalty for one wrong objective answer worth one mark is:
- A. 1
- B. 0.5
- C. 0.25
- D. 0
✅ Correct answer: C — 0.25
💡 Why: CWC deducts one-fourth of the assigned marks for a wrong objective answer.
❓ Q15. At what estimated correctness probability is +1/−0.25 mathematically break-even?
- A. 10%
- B. 20%
- C. 25%
- D. 50%
✅ Correct answer: B — 20%
💡 Why: p − (1−p)0.25 = 0 gives p=0.2. This is probability maths, not an official exam instruction.
✅ Set 4 — Qualifying rules & computer literacy (Q16–Q20)
❓ Q16. For UR AM Specialist, published minimum professional section share is:
- A. 25%
- B. 35%
- C. 40%
- D. 50%
✅ Correct answer: C — 40%
💡 Why: The notified professional/subject minimum is 40% for UR.
❓ Q17. UR candidate obtains 11/30 English descriptive marks. Which statement is sound?
- A. Passes descriptive automatically
- B. Below 12/30 minimum
- C. Guaranteed selected if objective high
- D. Descriptive marks are optional
✅ Correct answer: B — Below 12/30 minimum
💡 Why: 40% of 30 = 12. The descriptive qualifying requirement is separate.
❓ Q18. A 60-mark subject section at 35% requires arithmetically:
- A. 18
- B. 20
- C. 21
- D. 24
✅ Correct answer: C — 21
💡 Why: 0.35×60 = 21 marks. Applies to the named categories subject to official rules.
❓ Q19. If 200 objective marks and 30 descriptive marks are possible, maximum is:
- A. 202
- B. 230
- C. 170
- D. 300
✅ Correct answer: B — 230
💡 Why: The exam has 230 maximum online marks; 202 is the number of questions.
❓ Q20. In a spreadsheet, =SUM(B2:B5) returns:
- A. Only B2
- B. Sum of B2 through B5
- C. Average B2:B5
- D. A text error always
✅ Correct answer: B — Sum of B2 through B5
💡 Why: The SUM function adds values in the inclusive cell range B2:B5, useful for JE computer aptitude.
📊 Set 5 — Timings, shortlisting & accounting (Q21–Q25)
❓ Q21. At a constant 45 seconds per reasoning item, how many items fit in 9 minutes?
- A. 9
- B. 10
- C. 12
- D. 15
✅ Correct answer: C — 12
💡 Why: 9 minutes = 540 seconds. 540/45 = 12 questions. Actual section timing and accuracy can differ.
❓ Q22. For JE next-stage DV, maximum ratio is:
- A. 1:3
- B. 1:5
- C. 1:8
- D. 1:2
✅ Correct answer: A — 1:3
💡 Why: Up to 1:3 candidates for document verification under codes 07–08.
❓ Q23. AM Finance: An increase in trade receivables of ₹25,000, with everything else unchanged, affects cash received from customers how?
- A. Cash received is ₹25,000 higher than revenue
- B. Cash received is ₹25,000 lower than revenue
- C. Cash received always equals reported revenue
- D. It changes the company’s tax rate
✅ Correct answer: B — Cash received is ₹25,000 lower than revenue
💡 Why: In a simplified example, higher closing receivables mean ₹25,000 of recognised sales remain uncollected. Customer collections = revenue − increase in receivables (assuming other relevant balances are unchanged). Cash-flow preparation is listed in the AM Finance indicative syllabus.
⚠️ Exam trap: Practice illustration, not an actual CWC question. Revenue and cash collected are not the same thing.
❓ Q24. A warehouse buys 200 bags at ₹900 each and 300 bags at ₹1,000 each. What is the weighted-average purchase cost per bag?
- A. ₹940
- B. ₹950
- C. ₹960
- D. ₹980
✅ Correct answer: C — ₹960
💡 Why: Total cost = (200×900) + (300×1,000) = ₹4,80,000. Total bags = 500. Weighted average = ₹4,80,000÷500 = ₹960 per bag. This is a practice application of quantitative aptitude and inventory arithmetic.
⚠️ Exam trap: Do not take the simple average of ₹900 and ₹1,000: the two quantities are different.
❓ Q25. When comparing a Technical AM and JE Technical, whose subject marks out of 200 are more?
- A. AM specialist, 60
- B. JE Technical, 65
- C. Same, 55
- D. Neither includes subject
✅ Correct answer: B — JE Technical, 65
💡 Why: JE Technical 65 > AM specialist 60, though both sections are 55 minutes.
🔬 Set 6 — Finance, technical syllabus & selection (Q26–Q30)
❓ Q26. AM Finance practice: A machine costs ₹10 lakh, has ₹1 lakh residual value and a 5-year useful life. What is annual straight-line depreciation?
- A. ₹2 lakh
- B. ₹1.5 lakh
- C. ₹1.8 lakh
- D. ₹2.2 lakh
✅ Correct answer: C — ₹1.8 lakh
💡 Why: Depreciable amount = ₹10 lakh − ₹1 lakh = ₹9 lakh. Straight-line expense = ₹9 lakh ÷ 5 years = ₹1.8 lakh per year. Accounting of assets and expenses is in the AM Finance indicative syllabus.
⚠️ Exam trap: Residual value is deducted before dividing by useful life. This is an original teaching example, not a CWC past question.
❓ Q27. Which is a relevant Official AM Technical syllabus topic?
- A. Ocean shipping law
- B. Storage fungi and mycotoxins
- C. Space launch trajectories
- D. Neural-network training
✅ Correct answer: B — Storage fungi and mycotoxins
💡 Why: The CWC professional indicative outline mentions storage fungi/mycotoxins under food microbiology.
❓ Q28. Choose the grammatically correct official-email sentence.
- A. The documents has been attached.
- B. The documents have been attached.
- C. The documents having attached.
- D. Documents is attaching.
✅ Correct answer: B — The documents have been attached.
💡 Why: Plural subject documents takes the plural auxiliary have. Writing accuracy matters in English descriptive practice.
❓ Q29. Does 85:15 exam/interview weighting apply to a JE Technical applicant?
- A. Yes always
- B. Only if reserved
- C. No, JE has no interview
- D. Only for 78 seats
✅ Correct answer: C — No, JE has no interview
💡 Why: JE Technical selection has online exam and DV; 85:15 is an AM-specific rule.
❓ Q30. If the CWC exam is held in multiple sessions, the advert provides for:
- A. Automatic bonus 10 marks
- B. Possible equating and equi-percentile normalisation
- C. No change in scores allowed
- D. Random score assignment
✅ Correct answer: B — Possible equating and equi-percentile normalisation
💡 Why: The CWC notice describes corrections, equating and equi-percentile normalisation if there are different sessions.
