APPSC DIET/SCERT Lecturer 2026 — Single-level CBRT: Officially Announced Method
Recruitment Notification 30/2026, brief notice dated 13 October 2026 · A.P. School Education Services · Examination date not announced.
One competitive level; no preliminary screening
The notification states that the recruitment examination shall consist of a single level only. The Commission will not conduct a Screening Test, irrespective of the number of applications received. The advertised mode is online Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT). This is the only firm written-exam structure published in the two-page source. It covers the announcement for Senior Lecturer DIET (46), Lecturer SCERT (10) and Lecturer DIET (104). The notice does not say that their subject papers are identical or different.
If the single-level examination is scheduled across multiple sessions, APPSC states that it may apply a marks-normalisation process where necessary and applicable, following a Commission-decided methodology. It does not publish a fixed formula for Notification 30/2026 in the brief notice. A single-level examination can still have multiple papers or disciplines once specified: “single level” should not be rewritten as “one 100-question paper” or any other unannounced pattern.
Confirmed versus not yet issued
How the academic post codes affect preparation
Senior Lecturer DIET (01) and Lecturer DIET (03) are separate advertised positions. Lecturer SCERT (02) is a third service post. Their exact educational qualifications and the detailed scheme and syllabus are explicitly promised in the detailed notification due on or before 18 November 2026. It is therefore premature to declare subject pedagogy, education psychology, general studies, paper marks, negative marking or a teaching demonstration as an official syllabus for all three. That is not a lack of detail in the explanation; it is an important limit of the current Commission announcement.
The sensible first task is to match your original degree and subject to the post-specific eligibility when released. Only then can a meaningful subject-by-subject examination plan be made against the official paper blueprint. Past APPSC lecturer, school teacher or DIET exam patterns do not substitute for Notification 30/2026.
Selection and next official notices
- Detailed notification due on or before 18 November 2026: post-wise qualification, vacancy breakup, exam pattern and syllabus are promised here; this is a planned publication date, not an exam date.
- Online application 18 November–8 December 2026: candidates must apply within the official window; the brief notice specifies online submission only.
- Single-level CBRT: an actual examination date has not been announced. There is no separately notified screening examination.
- Any next steps: the brief notification does not publish hall tickets, marks, answer keys, interview date, document-verification programme or result. Monitor subsequent official APPSC notices rather than assuming dates.
