The separate Translation Test is qualifying, with 60% minimum marks. Failure to reach 60% makes a candidate ineligible for further selection even with a strong CBT mark. Conversely, exceeding 60% does not give additional marks to the final ranking: CBT marks alone determine merit among qualified candidates.
